Another small condominium is going up on Dupont on the south side just west of Bathurst. The land was a long-time-dodgy looking old garage that fixed brakes.
The fine art of hoarding construction is coming into play here as it does in most condo developments. People plunk down 1/4 to 1/2 a million based on stuff like this. The black wall is actually an old cinder block and brick wall which been covered by plywood and painted. The green wall is a false hoarding wall that covers up the old entrance to the garage that most likely still has "Brakes" painted in orange/red lettering above a big overhead type door. Soon there will be big pictures of attractive, well dressed, people with good teeth. The kind that just might live directly across the street from a beer store, industrial cleaning supply place, and tire sales center. The old CP used location closed down. It will all look a lot better and be more attractive when they put a new coat os asphalt on the parking area.
It was snowing pretty good yesterday although nothing much accumulated.
