This is my third abandoned bank shoot. The first was one of my very first "through the window" shoots. That old Bank of Montreal location is now the Starbucks at Dundas West and Roncesvalles. The second was the Bank of Montreal on Bay just above College that closed. This is of course a TD Canada Trust.
I'm fascinated by these interiors that have nothing attractive about them. I mean who likes banks? If you're one of the minority that does like banks, they've tried to make them as hideous as possible so even you don't hang around.
The other thing I find fascinating about these places is that they've closed obviously because they're not making enough money. Imagine that, A bank not making enough money! I'd love to see the P&L sheet for this branch that was obviously deemed "unprofitable".
